On Friday, August 10th, 2018, Intimacy, a small collection of oil paintings, opened at the Central Bank of The Bahamas Art Gallery. Intimacy explored the dear relationship between subject and painter, the responsibility of an artist's gaze and the cherished relationships between loved ones. The oil paintings were accompanied by a performance piece (in the lower gallery) and relief and digital prints (in the upper gallery). If you missed the opening, read more about the collection here:
In the spirit of collaboration, I reached out to Arthol Gibson (DJ Ampero) to add a musical element to the exhibition. He responded with five beautiful tracks, listen to this EP by Slow Fives.
